Service Program
A Muyshondt Electric Torch is a highly sophisticated device designed to serve as a reliable companion to any adventure. Nearly every component is custom made, from the casings to the O-Rings. Outside of occasional lubrication of seals and turning surfaces, an Electric Torch generally does not require any specialized care.
For more in-depth work, we offer in-house servicing of all current production Electric Torches, designed to ensure quality and performance, and restore each torch to its original functional specifications.
STEP ONE
Disassembly
Your Electric Torch is examined and disassembled to its constituent sub-assemblies.
STEP TWO
Cleaning
Each part is individually inspected and non-electronic parts and assemblies are cleaned in an ultrasonic bath.
STEP THREE
Replacement of Parts
Any components found during the previous two steps to have worn or be unsuitable for use are replaced with Genuine Muyshondt Parts.
STEP FOUR
Reassembly
Each part is carefully reassembled to its original functional state, using advanced lubricants and compounds to ensure the Electric Torch functions as well as the day you originally received it.
STEP FIVE
Final Inspection
The completed Electric Torch is inspected and tested with the same attention to detail that went into its manufacture, then repackaged and returned to you by Postal Courier.
STEP SIX
One Year Guarantee
After a service of your Muyshondt Electric Torch, you are provided with a One-Year Service Guarantee on the parts that were serviced and the work performed. This Guarantee excludes any damage or deterioration that results from any accidents, misuse, or normal wear and tear on the part of the end user. Any work or modifications performed by third parties or the addition non-Muyshondt parts or accessories will void the Service Guarantee.
Repairs & Basic Service
Occasionally, an owner of a Muyshondt Electric Torch may need to have individual elements of their torches repaired or replaced, as part of, or outside of a complete service. We evaluate these instances and provide an individualized service quote for each circumstance.

Warranty Service
All Muyshondt Electric Torches come with a One Year Warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. Service under warranty is complimentary.
It is important to note that warranties are not insurance, and damage resulting from abuse, misuse, normal wear and tear, third party service or modifications, and other such factors as listed in the warranty statement are not covered, and may incur a service charge for repair, or we may decline to perform service.
Notes on Services
Services are provided to owners of Muyshondt Electric Torches on current production models. Servicing for out-of-production models is only offered on a case-by-case basis.
There may also be cases in which servicing an Electric Torch would cost more than purchasing a new one. In such cases, we generally will decline to perform a service.
We do not presently offer cosmetic refinishing services. We encourage users of our Electric Torches to let their models tell a story of their adventures through use and patina. However, we understand the appeal of cosmetic refinishing, and may offer full refinishing options in the future.
In order to provide a superior customer experience and ensure quality and functionality of our products, we do not sell spare parts or support self-servicing.
Keep your Muyshondt Electric Torch original. Third party modifications, services, or addition or substitution of parts not manufactured by Muyshondt cancels the guarantee and limits our ability to service your Electric Torch.
Service Guarantees are non-transferrable and apply only to the original purchaser of the Service.
We reserve the right to decline service for any reason, including, but not limited to, lack of parts availability, service costs that exceed the purchase price of a new Electric Torch, and previous third party service or modifications.
